grazing the covers of french Vogue and dominating editorials, this young girl is the new it girl in fashion. she's from the Ivory Coast and is only 10 years old! her name is Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau. although, as most of you may agree, 1o years is a little young to be modeling for high fashion, usually girls start high fashion modeling at around the age of 15. that is why her age is stirring up quiet a bit of controversy in the fashion industry. when you think of a 10 year old model, you're probably thinking of happy, smiling, fun children you see on ad campaigns for Guess Kids, right? at least, that's what i think. well... that's not exactly the case for Thylane. most of her editorial campaigns are of her wearing red lipstick, heels, jewelry, and lot of makeup. a lot of people are saying that the fashion industry is moving way too fast with the models. it seems like the ages are moving back, models are starting earlier and are retiring earlier. personally, i think 10 years old is a bit young for this kind of modeling, otherwise, she has great potential and also has unique style and it probably won't be long until we see her on the runways of fashion week. who knows, she might be the next big Supermodel.

what do you think? is age nonexistence in the fashion world?
