unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard of Kreayshawn, the new female rapper who got signed to Sony after the video for her song Gucci Gucci went viral. she is a 21 year old rapper from Oakland, California. she also has a VMA nomination for best new artist competing with Wiz Khalifa. okay, enough with the music aspect of her career. that's not the reason why i decided to make a post about her. the main reason why i decided to talk about her is because of her sense of style. her rapping may be hmm... questionable, but yet her style is just epic. even though she pretty much disses fashion in her song, i still love the cool 80's essence of her video. the colors, the jeans vest, the over sized glasses, the hairstyles etc. all those elements pretty much caught my eye. i am also loving Lil Debbie's style (the other woman in the music video, also Kreayshawn's DJ). according to an interview, apparently they like to mix & match vintage things from local thrift stores and making them come back to life. nice.

LOL, i don't see why shes nominated for best new artist, shes not on bilboard or anything but wtv.. i don't care for MTV, they don't play videos anyway. BUT yea she does dress really cool.
